HOW DO I WASH AND STYLE MY HUMAN HAIR WIG?Updated 2 years ago

Before washing your human hair piece, be sure to remove any tangles with a Wide Tooth Comb.

Place your hand inside the cap and run under cool running water in the direction of the hair. Gently lather the hair with a small amount of Jon Renau Shampoo or a paraben free, sulfate free shampoo of your choice, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub the hair, as this may cause tangling.

We also recommend that you do not soak any wig in a basin of water, especially a hand tied cap, as it will loosen the knots.

Rinse the hair with cool water thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Apply conditioner on the ends, avoiding the base of the wig. Use your fingers to work the conditioner through the strands of the fibers for about 3-5 minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly with cool water.

For a deep conditioning, use the Jon Renau Argan Oil Conditioner, along with a few pumps of the Argan Oil. Blend together with your hands. Add to the hair fibers and remember to stay away from the cap. Cover with a plastic cap and apply low heat, using a blow dryer. Allow products to process for 20 minutes.

Use cool water to rinse your piece thoroughly. Wrap in a towel and gently pat to remove excess water.

Your Wig or Topper is now ready to blow dry and style.
