Due to recent changes in tax laws across the United States, many online retailers, including Wig Studio 1, are now required to collect sales tax in states where they conduct business. This requirement is based on what’s called nexus, which is established when a retailer meets certain thresholds for transactions or sales volume in a specific state.

As a result, Wig Studio 1 collects sales tax in states where we're legally obligated to do so. If you haven’t been charged sales tax in the past but are now, it means we’ve established nexus in your state and must comply with tax regulations.

While this process adds administrative costs on our end, we are committed to full legal compliance. Some retailers may not yet collect sales tax simply because they haven't reached the threshold in certain states.
